Tackle Football (Grade 3-8)

OAA Football is a member of the Metro East Youth Football League (MEYFL) for grades 3-8.   As part of the league it is a requirement that players play within their school boundaries for the various communities. In order for a player to play in another community they must receive notice from the leagues that they are able to do so.

Tackle- Bar

2022 Will be the second year that OAA will be involved with Tackle Bar football. This will be at the 3rd grade level only. There will be no regular football at this age.  This was set into motion by the league and there are no more regular tackle programs left at the 3rd  grade level. This will not affect the 4th -8th grade programs. If your 3rd grader would rather play tackle, they would be playing up with the 4th graders. Reach out to the directors for more information. 

Full Contact

Grades 4-8 involve full contact - requiring a full set of football pads, helmets and uniforms. Please note that mouth guards, black football pants and athletic cups/supporters are required and must be purchased separately.

**Football pants (new) will be available for purchase at equipment pick-up. **

The cost for new pants is $25.00 and we accept cash or check only.

 

All equipment (helmet/shoulder pads) must be returned to OAA at the end of the season.  Equipment that is not returned, those accounts will be billed $150.00 per registration and must be paid in full before signing up for another sport.

Refund policy

Refunds :   Refunds will only be given if your child has not participated in any games and there are sufficient players on the team.   Only partial fees, if any, on individual case-by-case basis, will be given after games have begun.    Non-refundable late fee of $40.00 will apply after July 15th.

All refunds are subject to a $10.00 processing fee.   Refunds, as well as the amount of the refund, are left to the discretion of the league director. Partial refunds are also subject to the $10.00 processing fee.

Refunds will be completed based on the method of initial payment. Payments made using a credit/check/debit card will be refunded back to the card used for registration. Payments completed by cash or check will be refunded by mail in the form of a check payable to the individual completing the registration. Refunds may take up to 15 business days to process.
