Q: When can I sign my child up for tackle football?
A: Registration open's the first weekend in May.
 
Q: Can I sign up to coach?
A: Yes, during the registration you will be asked if you would like to volunteer to coach.  If you are selected to coach you will be contacted by the Director.
 
Q: What equipment does OAA Provide.
A: OAA provides each player with a helmet and shoulder pads.  This equipment is signed out at the beginning of the season and returned at the end.  You are also given a game Jersey that you get to keep.
 
Q: What equipment do I need to play tackle football?
A: Players need a helmet and shoulder pads (which will be provided.) A pair of black football pants, athletic cup, cleats, and a mouthguard.
 
Q: When is equipment handout?
A: Equipment handout happens towards the end of July/beginning of August. First week of practice does not require equipment. Handout happens at the Walton Shed and will be communicated through the head coach, each team will have a different time slot.
 
Q: Where is the Shed located?
A: The Shed is located at 6776 15th St. N, Oakdale, MN 55128

Q: Can I purchase football pants from OAA?
A: Yes, we have pants available for purchase during equipment handout. The cost is $25 per pair; we accept cash or check only. You are not required to buy pants from us, but they must be black. 
 
Q: When do practices start?
A: Practices can start any time after Aug 1st pending field conditions. Coaches are in charge of practice schedules and will be in contact with players/parents once it has been decided. 
 
Q: When do the games start?
A: Games typically start the last week of August. Game schedules are created by the league. Once they have been finalized, they will be sent to each coach.
