OAA BOARD MEETING

Board of Directors meet the second Wednesday of every month unless noted otherwise.  OAA Members are welcome to join.

The Oakdale Athletic Association (OAA) is an independent, nonprofit, youth organization administered and managed by volunteer adults. All residents of Oakdale are eligible to be members of OAA.

A board of directors selected by the general membership runs the association. The board is a policy-making body responsible for the smooth administration of its 8 youth sports programs: Baseball, Basketball, Football,  Lacrosse , Soccer, Softball, Travel Baseball, Travel SoftballVolleyball and Wrestling. The board relies on participation from hundreds of coaches and parents who volunteer many hours of their time to the youth of Oakdale. The Oakdale Athletic Association Board meets the second Wednesday of each Month at 8PM at the Sgt. Peppers. Anyone in our community is welcome to attend a meeting to just listen or to get involved.  Contact any Board Member to get more information.

Softball Umpires Needed

The Southeast Metro Fastpitch League is looking for umpires age 14+

The SEML consists of teams from Woodbury Athletic Association, East Ridge Athletic Association, Cottage Grove Athletic Association, Oakdale Athletic Association, and St. Paul Park Athletic Association.

Umpires are used in the SEML for in-house games, ages 9 through 18.

Dates: May1st – July 21st

Days of Week: Monday thru Thursday (End of Year Tournament July 17-21)

Times: 6:15pm-8:15pm (Game Times Vary Depending on Age, Most games last 1 ½ Hours)

Locations: Oakdale, Woodbury, Newport, Cottage Grove, & St. Paul Park (You can be scheduled at fields most convenient for you.)

Equipment Needed: None, all equipment will be supplied.

Training: Will be provided

Experience: No experience needed. The more experience, the higher the pay.

Pay: $20 & Up Per Game (Depending on experience & age level of the girls being umped)

We understand you may have other obligations, we can work around your schedule.

Lightning Rule

If lightning is present you must stop your

Practice/Game and seek shelter until you

have not seen lightning for minimum of 20 minutes.

Refund Policy

All refunds are subject to a $10 processing fee.  Refunds, as well as the amount of the refund are left to the discretion of the league director.  Partial refunds are also subject to the $10.00 processing fee.  Refunds may take up to 15 business days to process.
