U15 Soccer

Coed U15 Co-Ed Soccer - Fall 2014

Please note that this is a CO-ED league. Games will be played on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Tenative start date for first practice is August 11th, 2014.

Due to the number of teams at this level, we will once again be teaming up with surrounding communities to provide the kids with a better experience. Some games may be played in Maplewood, North St Paul, Stillwater, Lake Elmo and Woodbury.

Kids playing Varsity or Junior Varsity are not eligible to play in this league per MSHSL rules.

Registration

REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED!

2014 Registration is opening on April 1 and will be closing on July 31st.

Registration fee:

April 1 - June 30 = $50

July 1 - July 31 = $60

Players are assigned to teams in the following manner:

Satisfy family relationships.
Satisfy coach's preference for one player.
Satisfy player preferences in order by registration date and time.
Assign players based on a common unsatisfied preference.
Assign players based on school and grade.
Assign players based on school.
Assign any remaining players where ever the player fits.

Ideally all preferences could be satisfied. Unfortunately, this is generally impossible due to constraints such as:

Balancing the gender mix on each team.
Balancing the age mix on each team.
Balancing the total number of players on each team.

Registering early can significantly contribute to having preferences satisfied. Please do not assume teams and friends stay together. In any case, please encourage players to form additional friendships this fall.

Equipment

The league provides:

Jersey
Shorts
Socks

Players are responsible for their own shin guards and shoes .

Coaches will be provided with soccer balls and cones for practices and games.

OAA Soccer is a FALL ONLY sport

Coaches

Being an all volunteer organization, we always need volunteers, especially coaches.

This year, we are teaming with the MYSA (MN Youth Soccer Assocation) to provide free training to Oakdale Soccer Coaches.

Tenatively, training is setup for either August 10th or 17th.

We will be finalizing by the middle of June.

Please sign up to coach and we will contact you once we finalize training.
