OAA Fillies Softball is a developmental program for 1st and 2nd graders. In this program, the coach will pitch underhand to your child. The players are introduced to more advance practice drills and fundamental softball strategy to include hitting, catching, throwing and fielding. In addition to the basics, OAA will stress the importance of good sportsmanship and teamwork. No "official" final scores are maintained by the league as there are no standings.
Games are intended to be fun for all players, no matter their talent level, and should build a foundation for all kids moving up to the OAA C-League with the ability to understand and perform the basics of softball.

The success of our Rookie league is greatly dependent on having parents and other volunteers to help. Please consider being involved as either an Assistant Coach or Head Coach.
