Description
Girls C-League Softball is for girls that are in the 3rd and 4th grade at time of registration. This league is designed to provide an enjoyable, positive environment in which the participants will learn the fundamentals of slow pitch softball. The C-League is girl pitch along with some Coach pitching. The girl’s in this league will be pitching themselves to help build their skill level. When the season is completed, you will be able to see the improvements in each player's skills and knowledge of the game. At this level, an umpire may be used.
Registration
$75.00: 02/01/16 - 03/15/16
$85.00: 03/16/16 ---- to be put on a team at directors discretion.
- Games will be Thursdays at Cowern Elementary starting end of May 2016.
- Must currently be in 3rd or 4th grade.
- Practice days/times will be decided by coaches.

Equipment
- Registration includes a visor, t-shirt, socks. Black shorts are required, but not provided.
- Parents/Guardians must provide helmets and gloves for their players.
- Team bats will be provided by the league for each team.
- Cleats are optional (metal spikes not allowed).
- Please note, all bats MUST be USSSA approved.

Refund Policy
Please note after March 15th refunds will only be given at the directors discretion. A uniform fee and registration fee will be deducted along with a refund fee. Refunds will not be given because of team placement.
League Information
In the past, we have not had enough participation with just our OAA community. Because of this, we have been able to build a great relationship with other communities in our area. This year we will be joining North Saint Paul Association. Please note in the NSPAA rules, the C-League is listed under "Filly".
The season will start the week of April xxth, weather permitting, and goes thru August xth. Teams will practice once a week at Oakdale fields, and games will start at the end of May. Practice time/locations will be set after coordinating with coaches.There will be a Season-End Tournament August xth-xth.

Age Requirements
This level of play is only for current 3rd and 4th graders, 2nd graders will NOT be allowed to play-up. This is for safety, social, and developmental reasons, there will be no exceptions. Current second graders will need to register under the Fillies league. Also, please note, fourth graders will not be allowed to play up to the B League.

The season end tournament typically takes place the first weekend of August. Exact dates will be updated in February.
